St. Vincent Electricity Services (VINLEC) won a Special Achievement in GIS Award at the 2016 Esri User’s Conference. VINLEC supports electrical services for the five Caribbean Islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. In partnership with Earth Analytic, Earlan Myers, VINLEC’s Planning Engineer and GIS Project Manager, designed, built and deployed an enterprise ArcGIS system to manage the islands’ electrical infrastructure. This integrated GIS supports network analysis, data connectivity, decision making, planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting through the islands.
